“I’ve been a customer of Selby Shoes, Etc., for years and years ; it is the only place I go to for shoes now. I have had many serious foot problems over the years, and my feet don’t slide easily into most shoes, but Ed has the patience of Job. He always finds shoes, boots, and sandals to fit me. He is also always willing to try to obtain a particular size, color, etc, if he doesn’t have it in stock, although his stock seems almost endless as he brings out pair after pair in order to find exactly the right ones for me. I also believe that the stock he carries includes the very best manufacturers in the world. Some of his shoes may seem expensive when compared to merchandise elsewhere, but they last literally for years and they are classic designs that never go out of style. Additionally Ed has marvelous sales and discounts, as well as a “frequent customer” discount, that result in very favorable prices. I recommend his shop whenever I’m asked about shoes — and often spontaneously as well– without any qualification and with absolute confidence.”
